  1. Jesus Christ`s Manifesto As set out in His Parables and Parabolic Illustrations Spiritosaccumilatos

  2. Manifesto Introduction

  3. What is a Manifesto? A Manifesto is a published or verbal declaration of the intentions, motives or views of a Government or Parliament.

  4. Gods First Manifesto As set out on Mount Sinai was an active unchanging a posteriori law. Any person found braking that law died.

  5. What does a posteriori mean? It means that this law came into effect after it was broken. It could not prevent sin, only judge sin. If you did not break the Law you fulfilled it and lived forever; like God lives forever.

  6. When the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, it was: “The true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” John 1 v 9

  7. “In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.” John 1 v 4 His Manifesto fulfils and incorporates God`s first manifesto into His own; thus He brings Life instead of death. ”Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Matthew 5 v 17.

  8. Christ`s Manifesto establishes the Kingdom of God on earth to pro-actively resist evil; not cure evil. Curing evil is God`s work. Imparting righteousness is God`s privilege. Forgiving sin is a God-given GIFT OF GRACE

  9. What do you mean by pro-actively? You act before something happens. The Law took effect after it was broken. Christ Manifesto provides the means to prevent the Law from being broken. It is a priori, not a posteriori like the Law. How does that work?

  10. Let us start with the Old Testament prophesies and couple these to the New Testament fulfilment. In this way we may be able to show the vast difference between God`s original Law of Sin and death and Divine Grace as established in the Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus the Son of Man.

  11. All Old Testament prophesies are declarations of God`s intent hundreds of years before it happens. Each one is a manifesto or Hansard of a published or verbal declaration of the intensions of the Speaker. Thus sayest the Lord. Let us therefore look at Gods Manifesto concerning Christ first.

  12. “Behold , I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert . . . To give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Isaiah 44 v 19 - 20

  13. This shall be the covenant that I will make with the House of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31 v 33

  14. Christ`s Manifesto is the fulfilment of this prophesy. We – the Heathens – are part of it. Sons of Abraham we are by faith.

  15. Now let us look at the Manifesto For this we go to the South of Lake Galilea, and Matthew five.

  16. His Manifesto establishes a Kingdom; separate from all else; based on “a priori” actions, rather than “a posteriori” laws. These acts prevent the law from being broken; they prevent the spread of evil. He, the King-Priest of Peace is pro-active. His actions determine situations by prior action. (a priori)

  17. Jesus provided for the salvation of men first. None that believe in Him shall perish. Those that do not believe are already condemned, because they did not believe. This pro-active provision enables men to live by the Spirit and not spread evil. Evil is limited to those that do not believe and already condemned.

  18. Therefore there is no judgement forthcoming. Judgement was already made when Adam sinned. “The soul that sinneth it shall surely die.” The Manifesto provides for salvation. They need not die. By believing in Christ, they can live. We are sent to call them.

  19. Parabolic Illustrations In The Manifesto There are about 49 such illustrations during the establishing of the Manifesto. Some are incidental others definite statements. These are the ones we will look at.

  20. What is a parabolic Illustration? Parabolic illustrations in the Bible differ from fiction in its use of inanimate and animate things to illustrate and instruct. Animals and inanimate objects are never humanised, like in fiction, only used to illustrate human behaviour.

  21. TheManifesto is the ultimate code of conduct for the Kingdom of God.

  22. In chapters five and six of Mathew the illustrations come in threes. Each illustration with more than one element. Thefirst is salt and light. Ye are the SALT of the earth! Ye are the LIGHT of the world!

  23. We direct sinner towards Jesus Christ so that they will sin no more. How do we do this? Starting now, pray: Lord I make myself available for service from this moment onwards. Please direct me by thy Spirit as to what I must do. I know that I cannot present thy precious pearls to those that will not accept them. Grant me the ability to speak when the Father draws them.

  24. The harvest is ready for gathering. • The people is like a flock without a shepherd. • Fainting, wounded, bleeding and dying. • Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. • Persuade with love, understanding and gentle help.

  25. Salt and Light This first parabolic illustration depicts the reasons for the mandate of the Manifesto. “Ye are the salt of the earth . . .” “Ye are the light of the world . . .” Let us look at the origin of this parabolic illustration first. We go back to 600 BC. Isaiah 41 v 10 - 11

  26. “Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for Him: behold His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He shall feed His flock like a Shepard: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”

  27. Who is the arm of the Lord that will rule for Him? • “His arm shall rule for Him.” • We are His Body doing His work. • “Ye are the salt of the earth.” • “Ye are the Light of the world.” • This is the work we are to do for our Lord.

  28. “He shall feed His flock like a Shepard” • Paul writes to Timothy. • “Having food and covering we shall be therewith content.” • “Therefore you shall not be concerned about tomorrow.” • He shall feed you like a Shepard feeds His flock.

  29. What is a leitmotif? It is an important fact to be emphasized by repetition. A harmonic thought being repeated to enforce it`s importance. It starts at this prophesy. Christ Jesus enforces it by including it in His Manifesto. It continues through the Apostles. It repeats itself for us today.

  30. Why does the Lord choose salt to illustrate the power of the Gospel? The power of salt lies in its inherent character. It prevents septic spread. Salt is not antiseptic; it is aseptic. What does that mean? Anti = against. Septic = poison. The Law is against sin. It judges sin. It will eventually destroy sin. The Law is antiseptic. That is the direct opposite to being aseptic.

  31. Grace is aseptic, like salt it stops festering sin. Grace stops evil from spreading. Those saved no longer spread evil. The Lord came to fulfil the Law in a new way. Not by might nor by power. We do not attack sin on the carnal level. “Ye shall not . . .” We prevent sin by getting sinners saved so they will sin no more. We prevent the spread of evil. “By My Spirit,” sayest the Lord. Zachariah 4 v 6.

  32. By His Spirit; the Spirit of Christ in us, we have the responsibility to stop evil from spreading. How do we do that? We preach the Gospel so that people will be saved and sin no more. We prevent sin from spreading by getting people saved. Each saved one tells another and we have a growing network stopping evil from spreading.

  33. The scimitar is back in its sheath; the sword of the Spirit is drawn. The attack is no longer on human beings, it is directed at Satan's kingdom. Christ faced him in the desert, and eventually on the cross, with the strength of characteralone. In Christ's Kingdom warfare is not physical, it is moral or spiritual. It is not antiseptic; it is aseptic, like salt.

  34. Richard the Lionhearted and his nights attacked Jerusalem in order to free it from heathenism. They failed and brought more enmity. What then is the New Way? “As the Father sent me, so send I you . . .go ye therefore and teach them.” David Livingstone went into Africa riding on the back of a ox. He healed the sick and taught salvation. He opened up Africa by teaching and introducing the Gospel.

  35. Jesus came as the true light of the world. As in the beginning God said: “Let there be light,” so also the Son of Man came and said: “I am the light of the world.” Light was needed to create the world. True light was needed to establish the spiritual Kingdom of God amongst men.

  36. The Genesis-light illuminates things. It also gives life to animals and plants. In Christ was Life, this life was the Light of men. Christ's life gives light to human souls. “The Life was the Light of men.” Note the contrast. The light no longer shines on them the light shines from them.

  37. Jesus said: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Like Christ we have become true lights of the world illuminating sin and elucidating, clarifying and teaching the Kingdom of God.

  38. We are the individual lights of the world. We are the salt of the earth. Not collectively, but individually. We have the Spirit of Christ in us to guide us. We have the Spirit of Truth to teach us so we may teach others. We have a responsibility to prevent evil from spreading by getting people saved and preventing them from spreading evil. Salt prevents festering from spreading. We prevent sin from spreading by getting people saved.

  39. “But if the salt has lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is therefore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and be trodden under foot of men” When salt looses its characteristics, its potency, its tang, it also looses its effectiveness. When we become ineffective in the spreading of the Gospel we too loose our purpose for being here. What does God think about this?

  40. “These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know your works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert but cold or hot. So now because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.”

  41. Let each man take council with himself. Ask yourself: “Am I effectively preventing the spread of evil by bringing sinners to Christ? Am I the salt of the earth as God requires of me. Am I saying: “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.” What does God say about those that say so?

  42. “Thou knowest not that thou art wretched and miserable, poor and blind and naked. I council thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.” Letter to the Laodicea Church.

  43. Late last year the Moderators letter asked us the question weather we, the Church, have not become like the Laodicean Church. Ask yourself if you have not become complacent. Is your light shining before men so that they my glorify our Father in heaven

  44. “Ye are the salt of the earth.” “Ye are the Light of the world.” How do we get back in line. “As many as I love I chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold I stand at the door , and knock. If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me on my throne.

  45. Do you hear Him knock? Then you should respond. If you do not hear Him knock He is not there. Respond now as the spirit indicates to you. Each one individually and all of us collectively.

  46. Let us pray. Here I am Lord, Use me.
