  1. Northern vested Anteater, Three Banded Armadillo and Alligator.

Northern Vested Anteater • Tamanduas are specialized to eat termites and ants. • If Northern Tamanduas are in a tree and attacked by a predator they protect themselves by getting into a tripod position that is formed by theback legs and tail. • Northern Tamanduas use their sense of smell extensively to find food.

  3. Three Banded Armadillo The three banded armadillo has a body of armor that protects it from other creatures like the shell of a turtle. Armadillos have these strong claws that help it dig and burrow under ground. Also, armadillos will usually hide in their armor if they feel threatened or are being threatened.

  4. American Alligator A female alligator makes a large nest of plants on thegrass she lays 20 to 60 eggs. These eggs are a little larger than chicken eggs the young usually hatch in 9 weeks alligators usually live 50 to 60 years. Alligators are reptiles that look like crocodiles. There are 2 kinds of alligators. The American alligators live in the southern or southeastern united states it likes wetland areas . The Chinese alligator lives in the lower Alligator eat small mammals. These includes fishes,frogs,snakes,turtles and sometimes birds larger animals these include cattle,dogs,and pigs an alligator usually grabs prey with its strong jaws.
