On 13th of December we celebrateSaint Lucy day (Santa Lucia). On this day according to the tradition people in Palermo eat arancine(rice balls filled with minced meat, crumbed and fried in oil) and cuccìa (wheat grains boiled and dressed with ricotta cheese, pieces of chocolate and candied fruit).
