Late work is – 1 letter grade • Must keep up with the course work if you miss! • Cannot miss any more than 3 days or you fail! • You will be docked points if you exemplify unprofessional attitudes or behaviors or dress during the MOD. • Volunteer work due last Tuesday of MOD • Interview may NOT be made up Things to remember!!!

Do a Google search for cover letter examples • Find one you like • Download it or copy it or PRNT SCRN • We will be using that as a template for your cover letter • USE COURSE WEBSITE FOR EXAMPLES Cover Letter
Polish Cover Letter • Tailor the cover letter to fit you • Cover Letter asks for an interview • Inform them of your: • Education • Experience that relates to job applying for • Skill sets that are unique to you • Qualities that separate you from others • Request a time you can meet with them to discuss your qualifications • Check for proper formatting!
Find a resume you like online • Save it to your flash drive • If you have a resume, bring it to class in electronic form Homework

Build your Resume • Google resume examples in your desired field • Download, copy and paste, or PRNT SCRN and retype • Enter in your personal info: • Name, address, phone, email • Career Summary at the top: • Education, background, skills, experience, qualities. • Experience: previous employments • Company, job title, dates worked, duties in bullets • Education • Related Skills • Certifications and Awards
