Chapter 1: Go Deeper! Ken Robinson
Chapter 1: Go Deeper!—Ken Robinson The Call “The call is clear: Go deeper! We are challenged to take our discipleship to another level, a deeper level. It is about our understanding of Jesus Christ and our relationship with him. It is about our living out those things that Jesus has taught us.”—p. 9
Chapter 1: Go Deeper!—continued Jesus said at the end of the Sermon on the Mount: “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock.” —p. 9 (Matthew 7:24–25)

Chapter 1: Go Deeper! Sermon on the Mount in Summary “They should give from the heart but anonymously and not for show, engaging regularly in private prayer and other personal spiritual disciplines, focusing on God alone and therefore being able to set aside worry and self-deception. Finally, they were to act on the word rather than merely hearing and then ignoring it.”—p. 9
