Dirk Gunsthövel • born in 1966 • finished school with German Abitur in 1985 • 1985-1987 community service in a hospital • 1987-1993 studied mathematics at University of Muenster, Germany • 1982-1988 freelancing programmer for several hospitals in Germany (data entry and reporting) • 1988-1996 freelancing researcher/software designer/programmer in a number of EC founded projects (e.g. HUFIT, MUSiC, Prometeus) in the field of human computer interaction and software engineering.
