What is Preaching? Euaggelizo - yoo-ang-ghel-id'-zo - to announcegood news (“evangelize”) especially the gospel:—declare, bring (declare, show) glad (good) tidings, preach (the gospel). Parakello – to beseech, comfort, exhort These two words emphasize the nature and purpose of the message being preached Preaching refers more to the total task of preparing and delivering a sermon; it is both an art and a science. Choreography – body movements used when preaching to gain and maintain the listener’s attention Choreography is the art of representing various movements in dancing by a system of notations. Time Management – Time used properly to aid in the effective presentation and delivery of a sermon.
