NaviSpeech - Business Plan • Targeted consumers: • Blind people: providing independence of walk and travel through • Route guiding and tracking • Current position on a route • Compass • etc. • Visually impaired people (including people with glasses): scaleable display, display (e.g. font color and size) options to raise the level of usability • Everyone who needs navigation on the smartphone: the consumer needs only a smartphone with Bluetooth and a GPS receiver unit to get navigation with easy voice handling 2008 by Akos Viktoriusz

NaviSpeech - Business Plan • Future: • Easy and quick route planning via Internet using an appropriate software, full operation without PC assistance, enable immediate route planning with available Internet connection • Collaborating with an embedded map software to enable special navigation modes and immediate trip modification, navigating in different vehicles, including public transport as well • Increasing quality of navigation by improving GPS positioning accuracy, implementing special algorithms • Multilingual support: collaborating with other foreign language Text-To-Speech modules 2008 by Akos Viktoriusz

NaviSpeech - Business Plan • Competitors/alternatives: • Smartphones with integrated GPS receiver and embedded navigation software: not supporting navigation for blind users nowadays • Other navigation devices: not proper for blind users and high price • There isn’t a GPS based navigation software scaled for blind users on the smartphone market at the moment • Currently navigation systems use a large database with recorded speech. TTS software needs less space and system memory • NaviSpeech could provide a cheaper and better solution for navigation in the future than competing devices 2008 by Akos Viktoriusz
