EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box Sometimes you may want to add a comment to certain parts of an Excel worksheet. There are two ways to do that with ease.
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box To add a comment to any cell in your worksheet, put your cursor on that cell... and then click “Insert” at the top of your screen.
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box On the menu that drops down, click on “Comment.”
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box Excel will insert a comment text box for you.

EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box and click anywhere outside of the comment box.
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box Excel will leave a tiny red triangle in the upper right corner of the cell that has your comment.
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box Any time you place your cursor on that triangle, your comment will reappear.
EXCEL: Adding a comment to a text box Later... if you want to remove the comment... place your cursor on the cell...
