Points to Remember • The Animal Service Center (ASC) is the only shelter in Leon County. If you spot something you believe is cruelty or neglect, please contact the ASC. • Clean water should be provided at all times. • Dog food is for dogs. Cat food is for cats. People food is for people. • Exercise your pet and give him/her attention. • If your dog stays outside he/she needs a dog house.

Mange • Two common types of Mange • Demodex • Scabies • Both have similar symptoms • Both must be treated using prescription medication
