  4. USAID Drug Demand Reduction Program Implementation period - 2002-2007 Countries covered by program: • Uzbekistan • Tajikistan • Kyrgyzstan

  6. DDRP in Kyrgyzstan • annual budget – 100 000 USD* • pilot oblasts – Osh, Jalal-Abad • main activities: • treatment readiness projects • drug-free rehabilitation centers • media campaigns • trainings for specialists

  7. DFID funded HIV CAR Programme implementation period – 2005 -2009 countries covered: • Uzbekistan • Kyrgyzstan • Tajikistan budget – 5,4 million pound sterling for three countries

  8. DFID funded HIV CAR Programme priority directions: • Monitoring & Evaluation • Scaling up Harm Reduction activities • Supporting the WHO’s “3by5” initiative
