  2. Why Is Earth Called Earth??? In the 8thcentruy Earth originated From an Anglo-Saxon word which was Erda. Erda means Ground or soil. Earth was first used as The name of the planet just around 1400.

  3. How Big Is Earth?? Earth is the 5th largest planet in the universe. The radius of the Earth is 3,959 miles!

  4. Life On Earth Earth is the only planet in the Solar system that has living Species on it.

  5. Water On earth Earth Is 71% water. It is the only planet that has that Much water on it!

  6. Earth’s Shape Earth is NOT a perfect sphere. It is known as an Oblate Spheroid.

  7. Why Do The Seasons On Earth Change? The Earth is tilted on it’s axis And as it rotates the way the Sun hits it changes the way the seasons change.
