The Perpetrator • A person who commits an illegal, criminal or evil act
The Victim • A person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action of another Gypsy prisoners at Belzec awaiting instructions
The Bystander • A person who is present but not involved, an onlooker
The Upstander • A person who is present and takes action to ensure a positive outcome Soldiers liberate prisoner at Dachau
Activity • Form into groups (Recorder, Researcher & Spokesperson) • Assigned an individual • Study the individual and summarize her story • Indicate the Perpetrator, Victim, Bystander, and Upstander
Debrief • Spokesperson will tell their Individual’s summary • Spokesperson will identify the Perpetrator, Victim, Bystander, and Upstander in their story
