  23. 5.2 SEARCH FUNCTION Search function is activated by pressing down <ASPS/SCH> key At first down, filenumber search function is activated, at second down, filename search function, and finally exits search function Filenumber search  filename search  exit search (1) Filenumber search Three digits of zeros are displayed which means ready to get the file number Enter music fille number of which want to play the music After finished, press <BAND/ENT> key to start search The music will be played when the search succeeded If the music file is not found, last file will be played and exit search function (2) Filename search Filename search function requires only three characters as search keyword. When filename search function starts, “A**” will be displayed, while the first character is blinking which field denotes that ready to get a character Change blinking character by pressing down <T-UP> or <T-DOWN> key The character will be changed from ‘A’ through ‘Z’ and ‘0’ through ‘9’ Use <SEL/NEXT> key to change field, you can continue to enter a new character After finished, press <BAND/ENT> key to start search. When all three field of search keyword was entered, <SEL/NEXT> key also can be used to start search The filename of the searched file will be displayed when search succeeded Press <T-UP> or <T-DOWN> key to continue search with same current keyword Press <PLAY/PAUSE> key to start play music of the current matched file If the music file was not found, “NO MATCH” message will be displayed, and after some seconds, it will return to filename search display state. And you can continue to use filename search function The filename search function will be terminated by some keys which are related with playing the music such as : <VOL-UP>, <VOL-DOWN>, <M5/-10>, <M6/+10>, <DSP>, <MODE> TNN SOLUTION CO., LTD.

  24. 5.3 RECORD FUNCTION The record function is activated when long <SCAN/CDC-UP> key is pressed down in all modes. The record function can perform tuner record function, CD record function, and line-in record function including delete and copy function into SD/MMC or USB media Messages that can be displayed are as following table when continue to enter short <SCAN/CDC-UP> key If media is not exist, the messages related with that media will not be displayed The record function will be terminated by long <SCAN/CDC-UP> key The sub-function of the record function can be executed by short <BAND/ENT> key During the execution of all sub-function, short <BAND/ENT> key or long <SCAN/CDC-UP> key is used to stop running of the record function and return to the previous operation mode • 5.3 REPEAT A-B FUNCTION • <REPEAT A-B> function is activated in the CD or SD/MMC or USB • The <Repeat A-B> function is started by long <M2/RPT> key in. • - If press more short <M2/RPT> key once, the state is <b>. • - If there is no key input to current music last , the state is <b> automatically • - If want to cancel the <REPEAT A-B>, press the short <M2/RPT> key. These keys are invalid when AUTO MEMORY operation. ■ READ operation One of the M1~M6 key is pressed for less than 2 seconds, read the corresponding preset memory.   28. Initial frequency to the preset memory. Other bands : Minimum frequency of each area is memorized. (2) AME / PSCAN Preset memory scan / Auto store memory key. When AME / PSCAN key is pressed for less than 1 sec, it performs preset memory scan function. When AME / PSCAN key is pressed for more than 1sec, it performs auto store memory function. 1) preset memory scan function descriptions Reading preset memory in regular frequency for 5 seconds each.   31. (3) SEEKUP ■ SEEKUP function. When any of SEEK UP key is pressed, the frequency moves up by one channel step with station detection. As this time, if a valid signal has detected, maintain the current frequency.   32. (4) TUNUP / TUNDN TUNER TUNING. Whenever one of TUNUP / TUNDN key is pressed, the frequency moves up / down by one channel step. If TUNUP / TUNDN key is pressed for more than 1second. • If TUNUP / TUNDN key is pressed for less than 1sec, it performs seek up / down functions.

(5) SCAN UP LOCAL mode SCAN UP functions. DX mode ① When SCAN UP key is pressed, the frequency is scan up by one channel step with station detection. ② If a valid signal has detected, the current frequency is blinked each 500mesc with in 5 seconds. If this case, SCAN UP key is pressed, SCAN function is released and the current frequency is maintained. ③ When SCAN UP key is not pressed with in blinking, the frequency moves up by one channel step with station detection. (6) BAND Band changes key. Band change over is performed through the cyclic method with the Band key. (7) LOC LOC (Local) function control key. This key is valid only in RADIO mode The “ LOC ” is toggled on LCD panel at every key input

CDP MODE 7.1 CDP KEY DESCRIPTIONS (1) PLAY / PAUSE CDP Play / Pause key (2) M2 / RPT Repeat play on / off key (3) M3 / INT Intro scan on / off key It play individually tune for 10 seconds. If this key is pressed in intro scan mode, it display “ INTRO ”. (4) M4 / SHF Shuffle play on / off key If this key is pressed, and at the end of the tune shuffle tuning function performs.   36. (7) TUNUP / T-UP Track forward key It moves to next tune and if it meet to last tune then it goes to first tune. If this key is pressed in random play mode, it performs random select function. If this key is pressed for more than 0.5 sec, it changes to search FF mode. (8) TUNDN / T-DN Track downward key The running time of current playing tune is less than 3 seconds, it moves to last tune. The running time of current playing tune is more than 3 seconds, it moves to firs tune. If this key is pressed in random play mode, it performs random select function.
