REGAINING COMPETETIVNES • Changingthe way priorities are set is ESSENTIAL. The future depends not so much on material capital but onhuman capitaland it is US - the youth. • Let`s look at some solutions that EU money could support:
Nowadays, human capital is not exploited enough to improve Europe’s competitiveness so .... - give us equal chances to compete !!! a. „It’s human capital you fool”
support programs that facilitate recognition and standardization of educational vocational qualifications of people from different countries subsidise of trainings for exams needed to get the licences needed to do some professions support young entrepreneurs and run contests for best business plans some ideas:
b. fight bureaucracy • talented young people have to face complicated procedures • NGO’s should be commission the task of finding bureaucratic hindrances to competition and professional development
c. cultural „Land-lease’ • sponsoring the lease of equipment for artistically minded. young people • granting scholarships • running art contests
d. foundation for artists, creators, authors. • The foundation would pay money to the creators of most useful software and other intellectual work products and spread them free of charge within EC.
The „copy rights foundation” would : • ensure satisfaction and fair pay for creators. • give EU citizens free access to selected intellectual goods • bring victory over piracy
transfer of money and jobs to most efficient regions of EU learning to compete with the world through the competition within EU giving EU citizens the cost advantage of using intellectual work products for free Benefits of supporting the forms suggested by us
we suggest: • promotion of family and motherhood • „European family fund” sponsoring designs and inventions that serve large families • revision of VAT taxation policy on the product for children • subsidising meaningful extracurricular activities and passions for children from large familiesf
benefits • population growth • more marriages • higher social status for many families • saving pension system
Overcoming individualism and promotion of the work ethics and the attitude of contributing to the good of the others is needed to improve Europe’s competitiveness. 3 . ”MORAL CAPITAL”
summary • There are many areas where EU money could be more efficiently allocated • We have to switch on ”post industrial” way of thinking –investing in human resources should focus more financial resources than supporting industries and agriculture.
