  3. Goals • to provide knowledge in wide spectrum of general subjects of biology • to commence the specialisation in a selected field of biological sciences. • to convey the basic skills of the research work • to promote the development of the harmonic personality

  4. Highlights of the Programme 124 credit points of UL or 186 ECTS, of them: • compulsory courses = part (A) 68 CP (55%) • specialised courses = part (B) 44 CP (35%) • free choice courses = part (C) 12 CP (10%) • 6 semesters and 6 weeks field courses in summers • Bachelor thesis 10 CP

  5. Highlights of the Programme • From the 1st to 3rd semester - basic studies in natural sciences (part A) • From the 4th to 6th semester – specialised studies in selected branch of biology (part B) • During 4th semester - selection of department(s) to develop bachelor work
