LED STRAT (as framework) • Ntabankulu local municipality developed and adopted its LED plan in 2008 (strategic vision, goals and objectives- misalignment with current policies) • Develop and transform the agricultural sector to ensure food security • Systematically eradicate poverty; • Manufacturing diversification; • Develop social and economic infrastructure; • Transform the public sector and state institutions; • Fast track development of social and economic infrastructure • Develop human resources.

  3. OBJECTIVES • Job creation, • Income generation • Entrepreneurship & co-op development • Infrastructure development • Food security • Access to quality basic government services • Access and sustainable use of natural resources • Community organization (Investment in people)
