  2. ฐานข้อมูล JCR ผลิตโดยบริษัท Thomson ISI หรือเดิมคือ ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) มีจำหน่ายทั้งในรูปแบบ CD-ROM และรูปแบบ Web Edition จัดทำขึ้นประมาณเดือนกรกฎาคมของทุกปี ปัจจุบันข้อมูลล่าสุด คือ JCR ปี 2006

  3. ฐานข้อมูล ISI Journal Citation Reports (JCR) เริ่มตั้งแต่ปี 1997 จนถึงปัจจุบัน เพื่อใช้เป็นคู่มือในการตรวจสอบคุณภาพของวารสาร และการจัดอันดับของวารสารในแต่ละสาขาวิชา โดยใช้ดรรชนีต่างๆ ได้แก่ Impact Factor, Immediacy Index, Total Cites, Cited Half-Life ฯซึ่งในแต่ละปีวารสารอาจมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอันดับ (Journal Ranking) ทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับจำนวนความถี่ที่วารสารได้รับการอ้างอิง
