  2. Like thanks for the job ‘n stuff. lol • If you do not communicate properly in a professional setting you can lose your job.

  3. Have you ever gone camping? • How does your communication with your friends differ from your communication at work, at church, or at school?

  4. Communicating in informal settings. • What are some examples of informal settings? • Talking with friends and family • Introducing people • Giving instructions • Talking on the phone. • Oh yeah, and what we are doing right now.

  5. What are formal settings? • A setting where you can affect the ideas and feelings of people in important positions. • Formal communication occurs less often, and generally you have a chance to prepare.

  6. What are some formal communication examples? • Bonus point for the first person to raise their hand and give one example!

  7. Here are some formal communication examples. • Job interviews • Group discussions • Public speaking • Debate • Parliamentary procedure • Drama • Electronic communication (RTV)

  8. Cool, maybe I can put a picture in this one! • Well, this is not quite what I was looking for. • One point BONUS for the third person to raise their hand and tell me which type of formal communication the picture has to do with.
