Welcome to the Mid-Autumn Festival Creative Lantern Making Competition 2018! This event aims to raise awareness about conservation and express creativity through lantern making. The theme is "Save the Planet Earth." Your task is to create a lantern that embodies what a smart nation means to you using recycled materials like plastic bottles, egg crates, and more. Work with your parents or classmates to showcase your creativity and originality. There are no restrictions on the number of recycled materials you can use, but the lantern size should be at least 40cm on one side and not weigh more than 3kg. Submit your entry by labeling the lantern and providing a short description along with the entry form. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners and 10 consolation prizes. Capture the ESSENCE of the theme. NO RESTRICTION on the no. of recycled materials use. The lantern size should be AT LEAST 40CM ON ONE SIDE either length, breadth or height. Guidelines
