Projekt OBOGATENO UČENJE TUJIH JEZIKOV IIProgram profesionalnega usposabljanja učiteljev JEZIKOVNO OBOGATENI KURIKUL: Razvijanje strokovne pismenosti v TJ Priprava na opazovanje pouka - 1 Srednja šola tehniških strok Šiška Ljubljana, 4. april 2013 Mirja Mrovlje Pečnik, SŠTS Šiška Operacijo delno financira Evropska unija iz Evropskega socialnega sklada ter Ministrstvo za izobraževanje, znanost, kulturo in šport. Operacija se izvaja v okviru Operativnega programa razvoja človeških virov v obdobju 2007-2013, razvojne prioritete: Razvoj človeških virov in vseživljenjsko učenje; prednostne usmeritve: Izboljšanje kakovosti in učinkovitosti sistemov izobraževanja in usposabljanja.

The school used to be called “Litostroj” • Founded in 1947 as an Industrial School of Metalwork 46 hours of classes per week, 55 students • Today: 658 students (3 of them are girls) • 43teachers, one of us comes from Mauritius Polona Petrovčič, Helena Mladenović Jerman, Stanko Vrščaj, Mirja Mrovlje

  4. The programmes today: • Mechatronics Technician, 4 years • Electrical Engineer, 3+2 • Computer Engineer, 3+2

  6. The school used to be closely connected with the factory Litostroj (PUD) • Iceland: Technical College of Reykjavik

  9. All our programs are new or renovated The objectives: professional and key competences What is a student expected to know and be able to do at the end of the learning process. Connection of general, professional and practical knowledge to help students: • gain personal fulfillment • employability • enable them to take part in society

Team teaching at our school – FL • Foreign teachers (intradisciplinary TT) • Communication in Foreign Languages, (2008 - 2010) • Enriched Foreign Language Learning, (2010-2013) FL is used as a medium in the teaching and learning of a non-language content.
