2. In social studies we learned about the Boston Tea party was a raid by American colonists disguised as Indians emptied 342 chests of tea into the harbor. They did that to avoid payment of the British tax on tea. The British response helped unify the colonist and strengthened the movement for American independence.

3. In Social Studies we learned about Paul Revere an American craftsman and patriot, became famous for his contributions during the American Revolution (1775-1783).

4. The Battle of Trenton was an important American victory over the British during the American Revolution (1775-1783). The battle took place on Dec. 26, 1776 at Trenton in the colony of New Jersey. The night before, on Christmas American General George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River, moving from Pennsylvanian into New Jersey.
