The Ruling of A King The King was the ruler of the entire of Rome. He had absolute power over the people in Rome. Although, there was not a queen, only a king. He had a senate, but it’s main job is to carry out the King’s wishes and orders. A King could rule up to 35 years. Sometimes the kings do not rule up to 35 years because they were sacked.
What Kings Had The Kings had lots of stuff, most importantly: Rome. But the kings also had some other stuff. The insignia of a king was 12 lictors wielding the fasces. The king also sat in a throne of a Curule Chair. He wore a purple Toga Picta (which only a king could wear), red shoes, and a white diadem around his head. Additional Information Since the King was wealthy, he had a lot of leisure. He had slaves to work for him. He enjoyed music and entertainment. That led to the gladiators. Men and woman were suppose to fight to death for the king and wealthy citizens of Rome. Kings enjoyed lots of things that other people, such as slaves, could not do or have. The king had all the power, money, food and big life than no other person. This is the daily life of a King.
