Have 5 students read one sense unit each. • How would you answer the question “What is poetry?” from Neruda’s point of view? • Look at Neruda’s stylistic choices: • Repetition • Verb choice • Anaphora-repetition of the same words at the beginnings of two or more lines. • Form-free verse Sense Units- complete thoughts based on punctuation.
