Preparing for the Future Over the next five years, we project 20+ principal vacancies. In preparation for the future need of school leaders, we must: • Think strategically about our pipeline • Be proactive about leadership development • Involve all current district leaders in our efforts.

The Ideal Candidate • Possesses Preliminary Administrative Credential • Considered an outstanding teacher/counselor • Has formal leadership experience at school site(s) • Has both expertise and general knowledge • Demonstrates an exceptional ability to work with adults • Understands the time commitment needed to be an administrator • Wants to be an AP/VP, and eventually principal
Application (via Google Form), resume, letter of intent, verification of your Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and recent evaluation hand-delivered to the Leadership Development Office by Friday, September 18th (4:00pm) • Recommendations- Site administrators will be contacted by the Leadership Development Office • Writing Assessment – September 21st 7:30-9am OR 3:30-5pm • Group Interview- Oct. 1st & 2nd (times TBA) • Program Acceptance Notification: Oct. 12th Documentation & Selection
