  1. Nätverket Renare Mark (eng. CleanSoil Network) A national Swedish network for soil and groundwater remediation

  2. Background The need for a national network on soil remediation was recognized at trade meetings in Sweden and Nätverket Renare Mark was established during year 2001. The goal is to increase the communication between different groups of expertise dealing with soil remediation. The network is run as a non-profit organization.

  3. A network for everybody The organisation is open for anybody with interests in the field. You can join as an individual or cooperative member. The board is elected at our annual meeting in March and consists of seven delegates: Lisa Ledskog , SOILREM Sverige AB, Linköping (chairman) Jan-Erik Lindström, MB-Envirotech, Örnsköldsvik Anneli Liljemark, SWECO VBB VIAK AB, Stockholm Elke Myrhede, Geo Innova AB, Linköping Krister Honkonen, Miljöförvaltningen, Göteborg Ulf Qvarfort, FOI, Umeå/Uppsala Christer Egelstig, JM AB, Stockholm

  4. Finances and sponsors The network is mainly financed by its members. Fall and spring conferences are preferably arranged in cooperation with other organizations, i.e. the regional industry, the Swedish EPA or research institutions. During startup, the network is receiving sponsorship from: Statens Geotekniska Institut (Swedish Geotechnical Institute) Banverket (Swedish Railway System) Naturvårdsverket (Swedish EPA)
