Should Cell Phone Usage Be Allowed In School???. Jerusha Henry Mrs. Pugh English 12. LOL . My Opinion. Personally, I think cell phones should be allowed in school for several different reasons!!!. Safety. Having access to a cell phone at all times can play a big part in being safe!.

  2. My Opinion • Personally, I think cell phones should be allowed in school for several different reasons!!!

  3. Safety • Having access to a cell phone at all times can play a big part in being safe!

  4. Example: Bomb threat • If a school had a bomb threat and the students had to go home, they would have to call their parents and let them know.

  5. Example: Intruders • Intruders invade the school and the students were on lockdown! Cell phones are used to let each other know what's going on!!!

  6. Enhance Learning • Cell phone usage can enhance learning!

  7. Students can use their phones to look up information for school work!!!

  8. Learning from cell phones

  9. Instant Communication • to talk with a parent Cell phones are good use for students that need right away!!! LOL 

  10. Example: Broken down • A lady is on his way home from work and his car breaks down on the side of the road...

  11. Example: Bad Weather • School sends the kids home because they are calling for bad weather….

  12. Cell phones can be used to get on the internet when the school computers are not working!

  13. Side Operations • Cell phones can be used for other applications such as calculator, memo pad, homework reminder,…etc.

  14. Learning • Can be fun!!!!!!!!

  15. Making sure they have a ride after school!!

  16. Get Connected!

  17. Using calculator

  18. Easy access to Internet!!

  19. Lol

  20. Mom, I don’t feel good! Can you come pick me up??
