  3. Standardized Exams Exam Structure, Started in September 2018

  4. On-line Exams • Computer based testing (CBT) is scheduled every two months for all exams listed above - May, July, September, November, January, March, and so on. • Applications can be sent on an on-going basis when requirements for certification are met. Once we process applications indicating this option, you will receive notification via email indicating the next available session.

  5. Exam Testing Center Locations Fort McMurray

  6. Compliance 365 • Certification processes now completely automated • Operators can log in and track see training/course history • Website is https://aep.compliance365.ca/cdx/login • Feedback so far?

  7. Attendance Guidelines • Changed from standalone document, inserted in Operator Certification Guidelines (GL) • Current version of GL’s on website – January 1, 2019 Changes – Automated Systems • Small Systems Certification required • Attendance of 1X month, changed to 1X week • Certified Operator in Charge and Attending Operator on-site together

  8. Why the Change? • Certified operators responsible for reasonable number of facilities • Allows for progression of responsibility as Operators advance through certification levels • Enables remote monitoring
