Genesis 15:6 “Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.”
I. God’s gift of righteousness is His plan of salvation (21-26). • God’s plan of salvation is exposed (21). • The righteousness is apart from the law. • This righteousness is received as a gift from God.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God’s gift of righteousness is His plan of salvation (21-26). • God’s plan of salvation is equally available (22-24). • There is no difference. • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. • We are justified freely by his grace (24). • Through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ.

II. God’s gift of righteousness refutes pride (27-31). • It expels pride (27-28). • On the principle of faith (27). • Not the principle of law observance. • There can be no boasting. • Man is justified apart from observing the law (28).
