How to improve the installation process for the next steps? (1/2) Outside AB/CO By keeping close collaboration with: • TS/EL/CC for Cables installation (min. 3 months delay) • TS/EL/OF for Optical Fibers installation (min. 6 months delay) • TS/EL/WO & OMElectrical inst. & oper. BUT procedures are already well defined -> EXAMPLE ->
How to improve the installation process for the next steps? (1/2) Outside AB/CO Cont. Example for TS/EL/CC: • DIC (Demande d’installation de câbles), date and delivery (min. 3 months) • Master planning and ‘Campagnes de câblage’ • ‘Réunion de coordination à court terme’ • Before launching the contract, direct call to the user for last modifications or green light!
How to improve the installation process for the next steps? (1/2) Outside AB/CO Cont. Changes or enhancements foreseen from TS/EL/CC: • All racks are now installed and cables installation will not be postponed anymore. • TS/EL/CC will soon supply a new team (2 MY) for urgent or exceptional short time work (repairing, connectors, small cables, …) • Eventually: Fine tracking during each ‘campagne de câblage’ !?!?
How to improve the installation process for the next steps? (1/2) Outside AB/CO Cont. Example TS/EL/WO & OM: The previous ‘consignes’ were: ‘Call us 2 weeks before you need your outlet running’. => Chaos ! Enhancement for electrical outlets: SOON ! • ‘Campagnes de mise en service’ per area (ARC, UA, RE, ..) • The user will choose his sockets on a TS/EL file
How to improve the installation process for the next steps? (2/2) Inside AB/CO • By tracking all HW components: • Cables • Timing modules • Fieldbus components • By using a more accurate planning, including all phases (manufacturing, delivery, test, manpower, …) EXAMPLE
