Purpose of Regional Meetings • Strengthening and fostering state and tribal partnerships. • Increasing AI/AN participation in cancer prevention and control planning efforts. • Building infrastructure and coalitions. • Identifying unique and common gaps in AI/AN communities. • Finding opportunities and new strategies. • Addressing gaps.

Planning Committees and Meeting Attendees • Planning Committee recruited through meetings, letters, nominations and “moccasin telegraph”. • Planning Committee and meeting attendees represent: – Cancer related tribal programs (BCCEDP, CRC, CCC) – Indian Health Service and other health providers – AI/AN elders and traditional healers – State/Local Departments of Health – Non-federally recognized tribes – Non-governmental organizations
