Thunderbird Partnerships • Role of Partnerships and Alliances • Global alliances play a key role in the development of a Global Mindset for our students, both on-campus and in experiences abroad. • Mutually beneficial relationships with multiple points of cooperation characterizes most of our partnerships • Due to our history and location, Latin America is a core focal point in both our curriculum and partner program
Thunderbird Partnerships • Types of partnerships • MBA in GM Student Exchanges • Adolpho Ibanez, Coppead, INCAE, ITESM, Pontifico Universidad Catolica de Chile • Interim and short programs in Latin America • INCAE and others with in the MBA in GM • EMBA, GMBA (On Demand) and language • EMBA and Global MBA Immersion Programs • MBA in GM Modules Abroad • One-half semester abroad for MBA program, ITESM a founding partner • Thunderbird hosts blocks of students for partner schools for one or two semesters:
Thunderbird Partnerships • Articulation of new Thunderbird MA and MSc degrees and UG programs • ITESM (and other) UG students attend one semester at Thunderbird • Coursework counts toward UG program and Thunderbird MA/MSc • Master of Global Management Dual Degree • Must have an MBA from the partner school before the MGM will be granted • Twenty partner schools in two-semester program, including INCAE • Global MBA (LatAM) Joint Degree with ITESM • Synchronous distance-learning program, using ITESMs satellite network broadcast to multiple locations • Taught by ITESM and Thunderbird faculty • About 330 students are enrolled
