  2. Say where you went • Le weekend dernier je suis resté(e) à Banchory. Le weekend dernier je suis allé(e) à Stonehaven.

  3. Say what you did • J’ai regardé la télé. J’ai joué au foot. J’ai fait du cheval. J’ai fait mes devoirs. J’ai rencontré mes copains.

  4. Use time phrases • Ensuite - then Vendredi soir – on Friday evening Samedi matin – on Saturday morning Dimanche – on Sunday Après - then Puis - then

  5. For example … • Vendredi soir j’ai regardé la télé. Dimanche j’ai fait du cheval.

  6. Give your opinions • C’était cool C’était fatigant

  7. Mon weekend - tips • Say where you went • Say what you did • Say what you thought of things (opinions). • Use 3 or 4 time phrases. • Good pieces of writing will be about 80-100 words long, and include at least 4 opinions and 4 time phrases. • Page 23 of Métro will help you.

  8. You should end up with something like this: Mon weekend • Le weekend dernier je suis resté(e) à Banchory. Vendredi soir j’ai regardé la télé. Samedi j’ai fait mes devoirs. C’était fatigant. Puis j’ai rencontré mes copains. On est allé au cinéma. C’était cool. Après on a mangé une glace. J’adore les glaces au chocolat! ……………………
