  2. 410.16 Luminaires in Clothes Closets. (A) Luminaire Types Permitted. Listed luminaires of the following types shall be permitted to be installed in a closet: (1) A surface-mounted or recessed incandescent luminaire with a completely enclosed lamp (A) (2) A surface-mounted or recessed fluorescent luminaire (B) (3) Surface-mounted fluorescent or LED luminaires identi- fied as suitable for installation within the storage area (C)

  3. Luminaire Types Not Permitted. Incandescent luminaires with open or partially enclosed lamps and pendant luminaires or lampholders shall not be permitted.

  4. INCANDESCENT LAMP

  5. ONE 20-AMP CIRCUIT IS NEEDED FOR THE LAUNDRY OUTLET WITHIN 6 FEET OF THE MACHINES. AN ELECTRIC DRYER REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL 240-VOLT DEDICATED CIRCUIT.

  7. Laundry Wiring Codes Common wiring codes for laundry rooms -Minimum of one 20A circuit to laundry receptacles -No other outlets on laundry receptacle circuit -Electric Dryer min 30A dedicated circuit (10AWG copper)

  8. 210.70(C) Other Than Dwelling Units. For attics and under floor spaces containing equipment requiring servicing, such as heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, at least one lighting outlet containing a switch or controlled by a wall switch shall be installed in such spaces. At least one point of control shall be at the usual point of entry to these spaces. The lighting outlet shall be provided at or near the equipment requiring servicing.

  9. MUST BE GFCI RECEPTACLE 210.70(3) Storage or Equipment Spaces. For attics, under floor spaces, utility rooms, and basements, at least one lighting outlet containing a switch or controlled by a wall switch shall be installed where these spaces are used for storage or contain equipment requiring servicing. At least one point of control shall be at the usual point of entry to these spaces. The lighting outlet shall be provided at or near the equipment requiring servicing.
