FY 2007: Of the 47 different matching combinations with at least one male and one female faculty: 11 showed higher salaries for males than females and 6 showed higher salaries for females than males. FY 2008: Of the 58 different matching combinations with at least one male and one female faculty: 11 showed higher salaries for males than females and 7 showed higher salaries for females than males. DISCUSSION OF FINDINGS
Individual instances of inequality of salaries of faculty between males and females do exist at the University of Central Missouri. These differences cannot be attributed to gender alone. In the aggregate, there does not appear to be strong evidence of inherent bias in annual salary compensation for faculty in FY 2007 and FY 2008 based on gender. DISCUSSION OF FINDINGS
