Track systems technology On Track Technology
In-Motion Weighing • The advantages of choosing On Track Technology: • Non-destructive • Sleeper or Rail replacement is NOT REQUIRED! • NO disruption to track foundations • In-Motion • Saves time, and money • Weigh vehicles without disturbing the flow of traffic • Modular, Scalable system • Adapts to expanding requirements • Wheel impact monitoring • Available on larger systems
In-Motion Weighing • Parameters that can be measured: • Vehicle Mass • Vehicle Speed • Overloading • Unbalanced loads • Wheel impact (on larger systems)
In-Motion Weighing • Vertical Load Receptor (VLR) • 4 sensors in each • Individually replaceable • Bonded to the rail • NO Drilling required • Retro-fit • NO Sleeper substitution • NO disturbance to track structure • NO replacement of rail
In-Motion Weighing T4 • 4VLR • 3 sleeper length The small footprint and relatively high accuracy of the Dynamass-T4 system makes it ideal for situations where accurate weighing is required at relatively slow speeds. The Dynamass-T4 system is the ideal solution for infrastructure protection, and the flexible communication options and low power consumption of the microprocessor means that it is ideal for remote locations, and can be solar powered if required.
In-Motion Weighing 08 • 8 VLR • 11 sleeper length Providing high accuracy at medium line speeds, the Massize-08 system is ideal for situations where you wish to obtain accurate information on train weights that you can use for record keeping or customer billing. Trade metrology approved, the system requires a PC-based processing system, which must be installed in a track-side building. Quite often the weighbridge can be incorporated into an existing enclosure where other trackside monitoring equipment is located.
In-Motion Weighing • System Outputs: • Date and time • Vehicle speed and mass • Train mass • AVI information • Automatic net mass calculation • Automatic locomotive recognition (does not require AVI) • Direction of travel • Side-to-side loading balance • Front-rear loading balance • Overload/incorrect loading alarms
