An Introduction to Pieter • Pieter Stalenhoefis an investment professional who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in investment management from Boston University. • He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. • As an active member of his community, Pieter has spent more than 10 years as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay.

Pieter on the Work Front • Pieter Stalenhoeftakes immense pride in bringing more than 25 years of experience to his position as an equity analyst at Wells Capital Management. • In this role, he works as the consumer, media, and healthcare analyst on the Wells Fargo Global Opportunities Fund. • The fund he works on has been a top-ranked fund consistently, and has even earned four stars from the popular independent investment research firm Morningstar. • He also develops models for earnings and cash-flow while collaborating with the international team in his company on new stock ideas.

Some Highlights from Pieter’s Professional Journey • Before he started working in this position, Pieter Stalenhoef worked for a number of investment-industry jobs. • These include the positions of analyst for the Wells Fargo (then Evergreen) Emerging Market Fund and associate analyst and senior research assistant for Evergreen Investments. • Thanks to his positions with Fidelity Investments and Provident Bank, Pieter gained early career experience.
