These superstars are also telling the coaches to keep an eye on their newest student that is named William Heikkinen. William Heikkinen is a graduate of Andover High School and is nothing short of a superstar. This is the person that all eyes are on because of what he has already achieved. Not only did Heikkinen love sports he also letters in football, track and varsity. Once Heikkinen committed to Brown University in January of 2013, his coach EJ Perry said, “Browns excellent football combined with its academic prowness convinced Will to attend.” There has been a long line of excellent football players before Will and now he has joined the ranks.

  2. While playing for the Andover Golden Warriors football team, this 6 foot 1 inch 195-pound wide receiver caught 67 passes for 1,162 yards and nine touchdowns his last season to add to the 7 interceptions. While in his junior year, William was a receiver for the Golden Warriors and his teammate Andy Coke predicted that Heikkinen was a player to watch because he was going to make it far. William Heikkinen will have football career challenges because he also has to keep the academic grades up. Although, Heikkinen does not back down from challenges so although it may be a bit of a struggle he will manage to get it done. Heikkinen grew up just as many of us have. He lived in Andover, Massachusetts with his younger siblings and parents. It is said that he had a love for sports from the time he could stand and hold a bat. He played Little League and then moved on to other sports. The game he loved the most was football and still loves the game. Having played high school football and being excellent at it got him noticed by colleges. Not only was this kid great at sports but had perfect grades. When Heikkinen heard that the Ivy League schools were looking at him he stepped up the challenge with the academics. While in high school Heikkinen and a group of peer students began to volunteer middle school kids. Not only did this group of students volunteer to help with the students grades they also helped with confidence building.
