  10. Instruments Test Specification • H-P-2-ASP-TS-1083_2.0 - Herschel Instruments FM IST Test specification • Specification established in collaboration between Industry/ESA and instruments teams, to specify instruments tests to be performed on Satellite level, and to remain the reference for these tests. • Double goal: • To instruments teams : To specify/explain which instruments test will be performed at satellite level (Objectives, environment, boundary conditions, organisation), and consequently which procedure/scripts instruments have to prepare • To specify to S/C AIT : Specify which instrument test will be performed (configuration, environment, duration, sequence …), and how or organize it. • Covers UFT, SFT, IST/commissioning, IST/RMS, SPT, TV, + define instruments state during EMS and S/C IST. • Collects & manage Instruments test procedures. Central site on ftp: • ftp://ftp.hp-instruments.as-b2b.com/industry_to_instruments/Herschel FM Integration & tests • Has been built from an overall test table elaborated with instruments (now updated from available procedures: last one = Herschel instruments FM IST_2007-11-26.xls) • Issue 1 published in Sept 06. Comments received from this date have been incorporated in issue 2 draft • In agreement with ESA, Issue 2draft 3 released (Industry/ESA/Instruments) for comments. Ready for signature • Today, comments on this issue 2 draft 3received from SPIRE & ASED. Distributed as an excel database (= detailed change log: Change notice - H-P-2-ASP-TS-1083 - Instrument IST spec.xls)
