Physical Appearance I will tell you about the physical appearance of the Apatosaurus. The Apatosaurus is 33-38 tons.33-38 tons is compared to 3 semi-trucks. The Apatosaurus is 70-90 feet tall. It would take 17 of me to be a Apatosaurus. The Apatosaurus is 3-4 mph fast. It is much slower compared to a Velociraptor which runs 40mph. In conclusion the Apatosaurus is the biggest land animal in the whole world.

Hunting and Eating habits I want to tell you about the Apatosaurus hunting and eating habits. An Apatosaurus is a herbivore. That means it only eats plants and ferns. It had blunt pencil like teeth arrayed like a garden rake these were useful for stripping and gathering foliage. It would be hard to have blunt like teeth. A Apatosaurus may have had thick moose like lips. That would help it gather plant like material. In conclusion the Apatosaurus was a gentle plant eating dinosaur.

Other interesting facts There are several other interesting facts about the Apatosaurus. Fossilied Apatosaurus footprints called track wayhave been found in Colorado that were about a yard wide. That is very large because my foot is only about 13 inches long. The Apatosaurus nostrils were located on top of its head. That is really weird compared to other dinosaurs. The Apatosaurus back legs are bigger than the front legs. That means the Apatosaurus back legs are stronger and heather. Clearly the Apatosaurus was a very unique dinosaur.
