  2. Victoria’s Virtual Library • Background: • Libraries Online Project Funded by Multimedia Victoria. • Project Team Working from Vicnet in the State Library of Victoria. • One of a suite of Vic. State Government programs aimed at developing Internet and ICT access in Victoria.

  3. Victoria’s Virtual Library Aims: 1.Create a 24 hour library portal. 2. Consolidate existing online information resources. 3. Provide services not provided in other ways. 4. Add to existing levels of Info.Services in public libraries. 5. Research and develop online information services. 6. Create an online community of library users.
