Full Eligibility • USN/USMC • While serving on active duty. • USNR/USMCR • While serving on extended active duty. • USN/USMC and USNR/USMCR Retired • Retired after years required from active duty or for medical reasons, USNR/USMCR after age 60. TDRL (Temporary Disability Retired List) or PDRL (Permanent Disability Retired List).

  5. Full Eligibility (Cont’d) • 100% Disabled Retirees. • Family members of the previously listed. • DB (20/20/20).

  6. RestrictedEligibility • USNR/USMCR • Critical emergency assistance when they are in a drill status or active duty for training for less than 30 days.

  7. No Eligibility • USNR/USMCR • Not on active duty. • Retired Reserve status. • 100% DAV Discharged Personnel • TAMP Personnel • Appellate/Administrative Leave

  8. No Eligibility (Cont’d) • DB (20/20/15). • Family members of the those listed.

  9. Cross Service • Army, Air Force and Coast Guard • Have their own Military Aid Societies. • NMCRS processes requests for assistance on behalf of those organizations • The appropriate aid Society determines eligibility and assistance based on its own policies.
