Texts have been chosen from the CSC SoW; • A fiction text, non fiction text and poem from each year group; • Activities have been devised based on the texts which cover the three skills – reading, writing and oracy; • Each unit could take a half term to complete; • Schools do not have to study each unit; • The activities can be transferred to other texts.

  3. Units contain: • Access to the text, sometimes through a QR code; • Questions and answers to support discussion of the texts; • Printable activities, eg chatterboxes, question cards, table mats; • Loop games; • Randomisers; • Instruction slides and translated slides for teachers’ use only denoted by this symbol –
