Hi, my name is Briana. I have one brother, and he’s older than me. It’s festival time and I am so excited! We only get to go one time a year.
Apples are my favorite. When we go to the Festival we get to see and eat new kinds that we can’t buy at the store. My brother, dad and mom like Apples, too. We like different kinds.
The Red Delicious and the Golden Delicious are two that can be bought at the store and they are at the festival too. All of us like these, but here at the festival we like to eat different ones.
The Sugar Shack is my favorite to eat. It tastes like candy and looks like a rainbow.
The Pink Pearl is my favorite color, but I don’t like to eat it because it is too sour. My mom likes to make apple pies with this one. The pies smell and taste so yummy when she makes them for us.
This one looks like an orange. It’s called the Golden Russet. The people at the Festival make this one into cider. This one is my brother’s favorite one, because orange is his favorite color.
This one is my dad’s favorite. It is almost black when it is ready to eat. It’s called Arkansas Black. He looks funny when he eats it because it makes his face all messy.
This is called a Knobbed Russet . It looks strange. I’m scared to eat it. My dad did and he said it is spicy.
We are on our way home, now. I can’t wait until next fall when we can go to the Festival again!
