  7. Harvestlab and Constituent Sensing • Attaches to self propelled forage harvesters • Can be detached for use at feeding time • Uses near infrared technology

How It Works • Near Infrared Sensor • Near Infrared Light shines in on the crop and reflects off into the sensor • Different levels of dry matter reflect NIR light at different intensities • Accuracy +/- 2% • Sends information to GreenStar display • Takes samples in intervals of less than one second • Shows real time crop moisture and yield information
