Kord tuli Peebule külla sõber Mikk • Peep vedas oma kalluriga kive, • Mikuga oli aga niisugune täbar lugu, • Ja kui siis Peebu vanaema suur kukk kires, • Peebu vanaema oli õues • Ta vaatas Mikule järele ja ütles, • Kui Peep seda kuulis, • „Palun näita jänest,“ • Peep tegi ettepaneku • Mikk aga ei saanud jänest näidata • et ta kartis kangesti kukke. • ja ta toimetas seal. • hoopis jänesega mängima hakata. • jooksis ta kohe Mikule järele. • sest see oli üks ebatavaline jänes. • ja poisid hakkasid õuel mängima. • pistis Mikk toa poole jooksu. • Mikk aga muudkui ladus müüri. • et sel poisil on jänes püksis. • palus Peep sõpra.
