Summary • Have Defined a Strategic Direction for Mersey Care • Able to Identify and Prioritise Projects • The implementation of an application level monitoring capability in order to enable application based SLAs • Server virtualisation will introduce operational efficiencies and reduce datacentre power consumption. • A programme of process formalisation in order to ensure that IT staff are working in an optimal fashion and that services can be delivered in a known predicable manner. • The investigation of Directory federation and Information Cards to provide secure access to partner organisations and enable managed information sharing. • Access to the full NHS EA • Readiness for CfH • Platform and IT Standardisation across North Mersey HIS to improve efficiency and costs • Deeper partnership between Mersey Care & SCC
