Who are you? • Take a moment to think of ONE person other than yourself who you consider to be great and WHY you think that person is great. • We will introduce ourselves this way: • Name • Person you think is great
Begin with a letter • Dear Mrs. Anderson, • Organize in paragraphs • Answer the following questions: • Who are you? What makes you different from other people in this room? • What does GREATNESS mean, especially for an English classroom? • What do I need to know about your learning style to help you to be successful? • Sign it!
BYOD (Bring your own Device) • Devices NOT permitted in class normally • Occasional activities may allow for use • I will tell you IF you need them • I will warn you. The next time I will take your device.
Tardy Policy • Do NOT be tardy. • If you are tardy, you MUST go down to the attendance office and get a note. • If you are late as a result of speaking with another teacher, you MUST have a note from that teacher OR go to attendance. • After three unexcused tardies in ANY class, you will receive Saturday school through the main office.
