Local Experience for Future • Size and scope: • Good: attached conferences -> bring participants • Bad: the schedule becomes too complex and diverse to handle • Cooperation with “outside” chairs: • Use info in the Newletters & website • Lessons to learn: Registration should open as soon as possible! Unnecessary last minute requirements: Extra rooms, lunches, dinners for WS, posters … Only few publishers (as exhibitors)- why? • THANKS to the organizers of ACL 2006 in Sydney! • THANKS to all chairs appointed by ACL-Exec • THANKS to Priscilla • Additional value for LOC: team-building ACL 2007 Exec Meeting
