SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION • Loss of interest in: • friends / activities • personal care • sex, intimacy • Isolation / withdrawal • Altered sleep patterns • Changes in appetite • Weight loss /gain • Frequent accidents • Low self-image • Frequent loss of temper • Feeling: - tired or fatigued - confused - unhappy
FATIGUE MANAGEMENT • Schedule frequent rest periods • Alternate work • Sit to work • Communicate your fatigue • Examine your lifestyle • Use joints wisely - use aids • Plan ahead • Ask for help • Use good posture • Maintain proper weight
